At Groupe Corbeil we believe hard as concrete that recycling is an integral part of sustainable development:
- Our three plants are engaged in residual materials management by making blocks from return delivery concrete.
- We recycle washout water from our mixer trucks back into the manufacturing process, reducing impact on potable water as well as environmental footprints.
- Cement powder dust is recycled back into the system using vacuums installed on our batch plants.
- We advocate the use of fly ash in concrete manufacturing to lower energy consumption and CO2 emissions: 1 ton of fly ash used prevents the release of 1 ton of CO2 into the atmosphere.
